2. Flammable and Explosive Materials

This includes gasoline, kerosene, propane tanks, fireworks, and any other flammable liquids or gases. These pose significant fire risks and are illegal to store in any self-storage unit. Most facilities require a strict ban on these for everyone's safety.

3. Hazardous and Toxic Materials

Chemicals such as bleach, acids, pesticides, batteries, or cleaning agents should never be stored. These substances are dangerous, and improper storage can lead to leaks, fires, or chemical reactions.

4. Valuables and Sensitive Items

Self-storage units are not pet or animal shelters. Do not store living animals, plants, or biological specimens.

8. Medical Waste

Sharps, contaminated bandages, or medical waste are hazardous and prohibited. Proper disposal through healthcare providers is required.
