Staff do not start by offering the largest unit. They first ask what you actually need to solve: winter quilts that no longer fit the corridor, furniture that must leave during renovation, or documents and samples filling the cabinets. They then recommend by size, budget and how often you will visit. A unit opened once a month is a different brief from one opened every week. A branch near home or the office suits people who need to collect goods often.

Three common uses

1. Winter quilts, heaters and clothes. Dry them fully before you close the box. Mark the lid Winter-2026 and keep them separate from summer clothes. Empty heaters of water and batteries, and stand them upright. Vacuum bags work for quilts, but leave a little room.

2. Renovation boxes, small furniture and lamps. Stack heavy boxes at the bottom. Measure the longest and widest sides of sofas, bed bases and cabinet doors before you visit. Red-dot fragile items and put them on top. Keep lamps upright in the original or a rigid box. Do not store paint, thinners or opened food.

3. Documents, contracts and samples. Keep them in a separate box marked Documents-2026. Use a rigid box with padding for samples. Lock the unit with your own padlock and keep the key.

On the day

Trolleys are available in the lobby. Photograph the lids and note “3 quilt boxes, 1 document box”. Lock the unit with your own padlock once the goods are inside. You can move goods in after work, because the unit is accessible 24 hours.

Rentals start from one month. Eligible new contracts can receive up to three months rent-free plus one complimentary move-in trip, subject to the quote on the day. A successful referral earns up to $800 rebate.
