This Christmas, The Store House will be supporting The Salvation Army's Share the Joy Christmas Angel Campaign 2023 to share the blessings of the festival with underprivileged communities, bringing a different and amazing Christmas to children.
The Salvation Army aims to collect 8000 new, copyrighted, and unopened toys for underprivileged children (from low in-come families, sub-divided flat families, or beneficiary of the Comprehensive Social Security Assistance, of the School Textbook Assistance (full rate), or of the Working Family Allowance (full rate)).
My Christmas Wishlist
The children will be invited to fill in a “My Christmas Wishlist”. The Salvation Army will then match their wishes with the donated toys and send them their desired gifts before Christmas.
This meaningful programme allows individuals and organisations to contribute to the well-being of less fortunate individuals and families by fulfilling their Christmas wishes. The Store House recognises the importance of fostering a sense of community and compassion, especially during the festive season. By joining forces with the Salvation Army, we aim to create a brighter Christmas for those facing challenges and hardships.
Our involvement in this programme reflects our dedication to corporate social responsibility and aligns with our core values of empathy and support for the community. We believe that the holiday season is a time to come together and share the joy of giving, and participating in the Christmas Wishlist Programme is a wonderful opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
We encourage our staff, customers, and the broader community to join us in this collective effort to spread kindness and generosity. You can donate new and unopened toys to depots listed here, including The Store House's four facilities in Ap Lei Chau, Aberdeen, Tuen Mun and Western District (Sai Wan).
Every act of kindness makes a difference. The Store House is committed to making this Christmas season a memorable and uplifting experience for those who may be facing challenges, and we invite everyone to be a part of this heartwarming initiative.
