After Hong Kong Halloween Month, where do costumes and décor go?

Written by Kaman Fong | Oct 15, 2026, 6:50:39 AM

Hong Kong Halloween Month runs 17–31 October, with events in Lan Kwai Fong, Central, Mong Kok and Tsim Sha Tsui. At The Store House, dry costumes, masks and lights first, then box them marked Halloween-2026, separate from everyday clothes. Rentals start from one month. Eligible new contracts can receive up to three months rent-free plus one complimentary move-in trip, subject to the quote on the day.

Five steps

  1. Wash or wipe costumes and dry them fully before you close the box.
  2. Keep masks and headpieces upright in the original or a rigid box. Red-dot fragile items and put them on top.
  3. Coil light strings in a wide loop, remove batteries, and leave the batteries at home.
  4. Seal fake blood, sprays and paint in a box marked Halloween-supplies, away from clothes.
  5. Photograph the lids and note “3 costume boxes, 1 lights box”.
